| Ratio I don't know about most agencies but PSAI is a maximum 2 students to 1 instructor. HSE means that a safety diver is present and shore cover. PSAI course should take 5 days.

| I did my course in Sharm in part because I was working shifts (and had no choice in when I got to take my annual leave) and it was the only easy way to get it done in a week without getting blow-out/ incapacitated by sea-sickness or diving a quarry all week. I used Tekstreme in Sharm (Aaron and Micheal) and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. I combined it with the advanced nitrox all in one go over 5 long days. 1 to 1 for the whole thing plus significantly cheaper than it would have been in the UK. In my mind the biggest question in choosing your instructor is looking at yourself and how you learn best. I nearly did my mod 2 with one of the instructors mentioned above. Didn't happen in the end because of my bend but looking back I probably had a lucky escape. I'm certain this guy is a really good instructor but not the right instructor for me as his teaching style would probably have resulted in lots of tears before bedtime. I know I'm not the kind of person who appreciates completely beasted as an excuse for teaching. Some people however find they do learn well like this so you need to work out how you learn best and then look for an instructor who will work well with you.

| I did my MOD 1 with Dave Thompson and I would thoroughly recommend him as an instructor. We did it in the Red Sea which was great as we got 13 hours in water instruction over the week. There's a write up on rebreatherworld somewhere. Janos

| In April this year, three of us drove over to Gary Fox in DiveAction, Cornwall for the MOD1. It was a tough 5 day TDI course and very well worth it. I'd highly recommend him. We all had Inspirations (my Classic and two Visions), but he also teaches the Meg. |

| I had Martin Robson take me through my MOD1 in Cyprus, and it felt like a holiday with lots of diving rather than a 'just' a course. I know Martin does KISS and Inspirations, he's at Eau2 Technical diver training, cave diver training, trimix and rebreather courses in UK, Europe and World-wide or Eau Zone Dive Centre Home Page worth a call.
