In reality I wouldn't do the dives on days 2,3 or 4, too deep for me yet Danny (Sober now....) |

| If I'm diving 50m+ then I do one dive, partly because of the deco issue and partly because I find it tiring otherwise. So probably the last two days, maybe the first if it isn't an early start on the 2nd. Depends on the dives really, if it's something interesting then I'm more likely to dive, if it isn't then I'm less likely. Depends on how I'm feeling too.

| I just keep diving, I have dived deeper in the morning and shallower in the afternoon in the UK many times. I have never been close to the limits of CNS or OTU's. Just keep the dives a little shorter if need be. If I were asked if I wanted to do more than 2 in a day on CCR after a deep one first, I would have to think about the dive and the following days dives to see what I thought. If it was shallow and I wanted to dive I would just run a really low setpoint if there were CNS concerns. I wouldn't consider DCI as a problem. |

| I'll quite happily do 2x 60m in a day, more so than doing 4x30m I look at it as total assent in a day and have set my limit at 120m per 24 hours except the trip to the coral sea where I averaged 130m a day for 9 days and one day was 36m, 30m, 30m, 25m, 65m, 18m - felt knakered after that day! This is when padding out the stops becomes beneficial/mandatory and also not having a sunto as they kinda panik after about the thrid dive! Fin

| now Fin, I like that as a general rule of thumb. 120m of ascents per day got any theory to back that up or is it a guestimation. ash |
