I am talking about where my diving is right now, I have done the bounce dives and built up my confidance with short dives. I used to book dives for the sole reasion they were X deep and thats where I wanted to be.

Having done this for a couple of years i now have the mind set that if I cant do at least 30mins on it I am not interested as a result I no longer crave the deep wrecks and would much rather do longer dives in the 50-80zone.

I have got into trouble saying this before but I dont know why? It's just my opinion about my diving?

I slag off puddle diving and diving in rock tunnles so why cant I slag of bounce dives on 100m+ deep wrecks

Mark

PS I did dive with Ash on wrightys boat this year

I think you dived with a different Ash.

well we survived. (just !) see the full report here

just posting this to close this thread really

we did the following dives

day 1 - 36m/72mins & 12m/92mins
day 2 - 103m/90mins
day 3 - 92m/109mins
day 4 - 87m/136mins
day 5 - 103m/153mins
day 6 - 60m/82mins & 14m/71min

and each morning our OTU and CNS readings were zero.

the only interesting point we had was when my CNS got upto 102% on day 5 due to the long long time spent at a setpoint of 1.5 and the Vision alarm kept going off

I guess however we did have long surface intervals between the major dives (like 17hrs plus) which helped

all in all a top weeks diving

ash
