| One other RB80 diver - but luckily I know him The RB80 is designed to be easily able to mix and match with GUE open circuit teams. Al and I will dive together building experience at first but there is no reason why if gas plans allow we cannot dive with GUE OC divers as I did when I did the Ressl dive in June last year when I dived OC with two RB divers.

Are there any things that the team will have to do differently if it's a mix of RB/OC? I guess an addition level of buddy check to brief on other possible faults?

In the long term of course we wouldn't plan to dive RB/OC teams - the only reason to have it is if you can no longer accomplish the dive on OC. Overall our plan is for both deeper ocean dives and longer cave diving. But I reckon it will take us a little time before that happens. Cheers Al

| Well done Clare, sounds like an entertaining course! I've got a spare KISS valve and triple display if you want them, I'm told it's pretty easy to convert the RB80 into a rebreather Cheers, Stuart

| Wow! Very impressed - congrats to both you and Al for surviving what sounded like the perfect blend of 'course from hell' and 'experience of a lifetime'. A worthy green incoming to you both
