Four of us from our club have done the IANTD Mod 1 over the last 18 months or so, no one has had any problems with the theory exam, you do n't need to be a genius, just apply a bit diving common sense and read the book before hand.

good luck with the course, I'm sure you'll enjoy it, have you had a go on a RB before?

How heavy do the calculations go,its six years since I took my Advanced Diver.
Any examples.

The book diving without bubbles available from AP is an excellent read and will help understand the unit - the manual is typically tech but this book explains the salient points with good examples - and no I'm not on commission...

It was over 30 years since I did any calculations, the advanced nitrox theory and practical which you have to take and pass before taking the CCR course brought it all back, and then the CCR theory was easy.

But the practical!, never figured buoyancy could be so challenging .
