Cool Digger with Duncan Price

well what can i say,an excellent day was had!
meet up with digger and Duncan prise this morning for a little play on our breather's pity diggers P1ss rebreather wasn't ready but i don't think it made much difference for the fun of the day.
i would just like to to say "TOP man Duncan big respect" great unit made perfect for your job.and for you who don't know about Duncan's site it's [url]www.sump4.com
hopefully Duncan i get ago next time! but for this time Digger got a little go and i must say it suites you very well! but from were i was Duncan beats every one hands down for getting him self stuck in the smallest holes!!!!!!
but didn't give up and tried it again but upside down and went though...
i have trouble with my gire getting though doors! and then digger showed me up by going though with twins and there was still no way i would do it:-(
The second dive was with Duncan's scooter them two on o/c and me on my breather.....got to get one of these things:-) bloody great fun.
we were doing the conger for a wile with Duncan digger and me in a line being puled alone, all singing away!
then down a bit deeper for a mess-round,DUNCAN the fly by's kept me looking around i could hear you but with the vis..but it did look funny with you stuck on the front of your own veical disappearing in to the gloom!
the 3rd dive was just a little play in the shallows for me and Digger
we all surfaced and Duncan set up a o2 breather for digger and i took him down for a Little play>>>>>>>>>i see trouble ahead!!well done digger are you another convert?
all in all a first class little play, and Duncan took a few pics which i think he'll post later for those people interested
thanks you two, hope we can do it again some time!
best john routley

John,
A nice little write up. I now really want a 'breather.
I sent you a PM about the pics I took of your rebreather, was your PM box full? If so PM me your email address and I'll send them off to you.

Well, I'm home, and I'm now the proud builder of the DIGGERP1SS MK1. I also have a raging headache (cheers boys) and I don't feel like going out on the booze with my mates. Maybe I need this more often, and I wouldn't be so damned poor!

Watching you guys on your breathers is all very inspiring, and I think you have a convert, but I don't reckon you're going to catch me paying 4K for one! £600 sounds much more like my kind of money.

Now, all I need is a convenient body of water with plenty of safety divers and maybe a rescue boat. Oh look! Stoney!

Thanks again guys, and Duncan I'll make you proud with this little puppy. Just needs a bit more work and it'll be ready for some test-dives. That mouthpiece is a work of art, too.

Roll on the photos!

Digs.

Digger, when you kill yourself, can i have your kit (obviously not the stuff you were wearing, that is just a tad too gross).

Well, the headache came from testing to see what CO2 does to me. Which was exactly as expected. Makes me feel like poo. Recovered now.

Porg, you can have second dibs on the kit front, one item each, whoever goes in for my body gets the first choice. Could be waiting a while mind, I have a very consevative and careful testing regime planned, but it could happen.

We decided at the weekend what to put on my headstone after some deliberation. To save engraving costs, it was just going to be "Sorry Girls". Oh am I in for a slap. I thought it might sum me up for anyone who didn't get to meet me, and serves a purpose too. There's far too much of this "dearly loved..." business about.

You don’t need to be good at swimming to save lives.

OBVIOUSLY YOUR STUPIDITY IS ONLY MATCHED BY YOUR INCOMPETENCE.
