| Thanks Hi All, Thanks for the advice, most useful. I think I will try and sort out a try dive before I do anything else and then take it from there. I accept the point about experience but I never thought I would get a rebreater and start doing trimix dives to the deepest darkest depths. I accept there will be a steep learning curve followed buy a gradual building up of experience in all conditions. Like everything in diving, you should dive to your limits and never be afraid to say no. I do think that CCR is the future of diving and would be interested to know if anyone started out on the CCR without doing any OC diving before hand? So all thanks for the advice, I am going to go and do a lot more reading now. Cheers Chris |

I just bought a single 20kg tub for £65 that works out at £3.25 a kilo and you need 2.45kg (apparently) which equals £8. I can't believe that buying 32 tubs drops the price to about £25 each? If it does, then please keep me posted to the consortium developments.....

| Seems a lot I paid under 3 quid a kilo from Divex when I bought 797 grade last year. That was just a numpty sized order with no bulk discount. |

| Rebreather diver offered cheap lime - - he say GIMME GIMME GIMME. Count me in, just paid £67 for a 20kg drum |

| OK mathematical cock up on my part its looking like £45.00 a drum for the order but that’s to be confirmed and we are sorting preferred grading of lime as well as different members of the group have apparently different opinions on the subject so don’t hold me too it. This is all well and good but we are talking deliveries of a pallet load so you have to consider how you’re going to get your hands on it from Kent or possibly Marlow in Bucks. The re-transport cost could wipe out the profit. That’s been our problem so far. I will however endeavour to keep you all informed. ATB Mark Chase
