Rebreatherstock

Rather than hijack the other thread, any takers for a meet and dive of homebuilders or other rebreather owners, or those that want to be amazed at what you can do with bog pipe? I know Duncan has said he's interested.

Somewhere either friendly to our aims or if not then fun to get bollocked by the staff (doesn't Capernwray do DIR stylie training?). Dorothea would be my choice as you can do what you like, but open to suggestions as it's a bit out of the way for many, although there is a good pub.

Dates... whenever. I get my new centre section in a couple of weeks so after that is good for me.

It would be good to get a few commercial RBs too, so we can steal bits when you aren't looking if nothing else.

Sounds good to me. I'll be there, it'd be nice to see some other units. Dorothea seems ideal, I've not been up there yet, so could be able to combine the two visits...

With the stage I'm at at the moment there is no breather to currently dive!
It might be An idea to do a "dry" rebreatherfest where we can get together look at each others units, discuss ideas etc. Then also have a "Wet" rebreatherfest where we can see the units in action.

It may not be the right way to go, but maybe we could have a day of "discusion" and then hire a swimming pool for the evening?

I was thinking more the other way round, dive during the day and do the "dry" bit in the pub

Stoney actually seem OK about me, John and Digger turning up there. I had thought that the Sunday of the Brum Dive Show would be a good time. We could have the "dry" part at the NEC the day before! I can just see the faces as all the DIY'ers march into the show with bits of plumbing and sit around the bar...

[EDIT] Arse, I might be away that week, not sure yet. Won't Stoney be rammed that w/e? Maybe AP will have an Inspiration try dive pool we could use?

Dorothea has a bit more depth and the Cwllyn Arms do a great pint (and a mean pizza) though. Not that I'm biased in location choice...
