Like diving to 100m+ with no certification or training? How does that work?

And you trust your diving, and the profiles you make sure everyone knows about, to luck do you? Good luck.

Brendan I would hardly think you are in a position to comment since you are rather a few levels below my current certification level which is mixed gas CCR to 100 metres and experience level which is mixed gas CCR to 130m +. I can send you a copy of my ticket if you'd like something to aspire to? Perhaps a bit of focus on your own diving rather than such interest in the pursuits of others?

As for decompression, I do not believe you are decompression procedures certified OR an experienced decompression diver, it is unlikely that you know the difference between good and bad decompression. It is unlikely that you have spent the hundreds of hours I have in the practices of running dive profiles, reading decompression books, comparing decompression algorithms, talking to the medical profession, analysing bubble models and diving CCR.

I have never yet been recompressed although one day I will be. You do not know the first thing about my diving so you really cannot comment with any validity. Furthermore Brendan every diver going past 100 metres and doing any decent bottom time is trusting luck and slowly gained experience since there are no certs or training for these dives and still relatively little experience of effective decompression profiling in this range.

This is my last response to you in this thread since you are in danger of hijacking yet another good thread and wrecking it with non rebreather content.

    Goodbye

PMSL. Believe me, there is little about you to which I might aspire. And it's rather hard to miss your 'pursuits' when you will insist on plastering them over every diving forum in Christendom And there is no written law or lore which says that all divers must be CCR Mod 3 cert'd (though nice of you to finally get round to bothering with certs now you're doing the profiles to match ) if they want to be seen as worthy of the Great Ammers. Accept it. You're just background noise.

Hey, what ever floats your boat. Read away. Is it the only form of diving to be done? (100m+ on mix) - err no. So don't come the big 'I am', coz it bores people. Repeatedly. See others' comments in this and other threads about self-publicity and you grandstanding and attention seeking. Hero-to-halo if you're not lucky.

    ZZZzzzzzzzzzzz........

    1) Err..who asked?

    2) Wrong, you make damned sure that the rest of the waking world knows about your every 'heroic' exploit. Sorry to rain your parade, but we have far more experienced, capable and better qualified divers on this board who offer their worthwhile input no strings attached, as opposed to you and those seeking to do homage at your altar. Nothing you are doing is in any way unique - who convinced you it was?

So the anal sex posts by you, that were removed by another Mod, were in no way a hijacking? Err...OK. You've been bubbled, and not just by me.

    Goodbye

    AM
    OK. BYE!

    LOL

What you fail to understand Ammers is that you are, through your intrinsic arrogance, and not to put too fine a point on it, what's called a 'one-trick pony' and considered a running joke in proper diving circles; your acolytes and those who dive with you (the DFC Muppets) are now on an unofficial list of 'potential incidents' on a number of boat skippers' and instructors' 'to watch out for' lists as a result fo their activities and habitual boastfulness on this and other forums. But that's all your own faults. C'est la vie.

You insist on treating this and other forums like your own 'pray to me' meeting, and forget constantly that you are a guest here whilst flouting the rules and making deliberately contentious posts (DFC etc.)

You talk of certs and ability, and conveniently forget (or fail to mention) that your instructor flatly refused to cert you on your initial Mod 1 course for a whole host of reasons. So please, let's not get into a pissing contest about just how good you are. So you dive a CCR unit? Yappy-doo! So what? And the importance of this is...?

    You've just PM'd me:

YD's loss I am afraid. It really is a shame that all the great CCR friends I have here are seeing that YD is being ruined by the actions of one over zealous moderator.
As opposed to the stream of complaints we receive about you (and your DFC flunkies/acolytes) in PM from a great number of YD members who are sick and tired of your grandstanding? Yeah, right.

As a large number of us will know here, you have a long history of being banned for grandstanding and baiting (what was it you called it? Ah yes, "throwing in a handgrenade and watching the results for laughs") and causing trouble on here and other forums - and all merely for the greater glory of Ammers. Frankly, we bored of it years ago.

Well it stops here. You've already had one moderator threaten to ban you today. Consider this a second. There will be no third.

If you don't like it here, Good bye.

    Thread closed.
