Talking Inspo Cylinders - at last !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wait is almost over, after arriving in the States in July I found that my cylinders were not fillable over here, without a 7 hour round trip. Silent Diving in New Hampshire finally received a shipment from Italy and two shiny cylinders are on their way to Florida. Down side is I'm $600 poorer.

So try and get some pool time next week and a dive on the weekend - not a minute too soon, not dived since 14th July,

Stay safe,

Paul

Enjoy....I had a similar problem when my YBOD was delivered to Thailand, the cylinders were in Germany! luckily I was able to hire some to get me in the water.

Talking Cylinder type

The reason they would'nt fill them is that they were not approved USA cylinders by their DOT but now the problem is sorted - hooray.

How do you pack a scrubber again, it's been nearly 3 months - only joking.

Off to fettle this evening, pack the scrubber and change one of the hoses, hooray.

We do know how to fill them. Remember though that this is the land of the million-zillion dollar lawsuit. Reasonable action is superseded by the prospects of an empty wallet and no house. I have found that true tech shops more than willing to fill non-DOT cylinders.

2 x 20 cubic foot Faber cylinders for 600.00 dollars? Ouch. Tad on the pricey side.

Very True

Tech shops would have filled them, 7 1/2 hours round trip to Fort lauderdale to get them filled, not a chance
