Congratulations Smudger

We got another baby (I still consider myself one too) RB diver yesterday.

Smudger passed his Mod 1 on his Classic Kiss.
He's far too modest to post so I've done it for him.

It was particularly tiring, as the way things worked out, he had to do 4 dives on Sat and 3 on Sun.

Well done mate!!

Time to dive.

Thanks for your posts. Too modest I'm not sure about that? It was a good course although I am still a bit up and down a bit! Breath out you go down right? No wrong very wrong! and Breath in you go up! Nope you hit the bottom like the Hindenburg! creating a cloud of silt so big half of stoney disappeares just like magic (Bet Paul Daniels cant do that) So for all the people diving Stoney at the weekend sorry and yes it was probably me!! But on the whole a good course a little bit rushed as our Instructor's RB fell apart the Sunday before so we lost 2 dives and started playing catch up! I do have a few Questions as Paul(Turbanator has not resolved the problem yet either wieghting for the Kiss where do you put it? I hate Wieght belts as it makes my feet sink so that is not a good option and as the steel 3lt cylinders have floaty bottoms they make the unit sit at an akward angle on your back any advise would be most welcom.
Thanks Jamie

I've got 300bar 3ltrs on mine and can hold a 1m stop in a neoprean dry suit with 200g thinsulate and no bailout bottles or other assosiated crap(wiegth).

As you get more used to the unit you will no doubt be able to shed a few lbs you could also use steel stages for your bailout or camband a few wiegths to ali stages to bring the wiegth forward.

Sounds like a good Idea I am down to 2kg with the unit so if I stuck on 300bar I would sink like a stone I am working that 3kg max in the sea. The only problem I see is if you stickit on your stage and have to pass it off in would disappear with it ?
