Life's too short....

I've been thinking.... I have a vehicle that I don't really need at the moment..I would find a transit sized van a better option for work. My current vehicle (L200 4x4) is worth maybe 14k. I could buy a van for about the same, OR buy one for 5k and have a 'Boris' with the change Either van would do the same job, just that one would be newer.
So the dialema is:
Firstly....Do I sell the L200 in the 1st place?
Secondly...Do I spend all the dosh on a van?
Thirdly....If spending 5k on a van, What do I do with the change?
Do I buy a Boris? or,...use it more wisely, ie getting the house finished?

Get a second hand sport kiss then as an intro Phi is selling one on RBW and you will not loose any money on it.

I am not sure if the Boris is really a good choice for your first Rebreather and depending on what you might be doing diving wise might well be over kill.

ok, i understand the overkill comment - but what is a good choice for a first rebreather?

on saturday, the boat was full of inspo's and a couple of megs

general comments were that the inspo is reasonably good to get to grips (or is that gripes) with

Any, I think is the answer to the first Q
As far as the 'sport', I can't see any advantages, except it looks neat.

I can't comment on the Boris because I've not dived one and view Delta-P's support on the VR3 as an argument against but having a vehicle rusting outside your house never seems like a good investment.

Well I'm to old to get my priorities that mixed up. Take the fun option.

Do a 'cost of ownership analysis'. There comes a time when an old vehicle costs more to run overall than a newer one, even though it's cheaper to buy. If you need it for work then it will have to be reliable and I should know

Then book yourself on the next available trip to the Galapagos.
