I'd recomend SAFE4PETS

It's the only disinfectant approved by DEFRA (trigene isn't approved). It's animal / human safe.

5 minutes exposure kills pretty much everything.

We have a boarding cattery and use it extensively we buy it in 25 litre drums and dilute it 1:100

I use safe 4 as well in work its good stuff,but i think i will stick to trigene/buddy clean for the inspo.

Afraid not, there's a list as long as your arm of DEFRA approved disinfectants.

I use TriGene only cost me just under 10 quid and should last a few years since you then dilute it down.

Virkon S... in heavy dilution.. supplied via friend who works with cats.
I only use this once back at home. Whilst on trips I just use water to rinse the loop.

Safe4Pets -- Information.
Hi.

I just saw the post for safe4pets.
If anyone is interested in that product, it can be found at Safe4 - Home.

I made their web site. I am not trying to promote it here, but doing a search in Google for safe4pets just brings up a flash movie currently, so I am working on getting that fixed and making it more useful for anyone trying to find it.

I bought a big pot of trigene years ago. It will last out my days on a rebreather.

It tastes like rat poison if you forget to rinse it off so DEFRA probably thinks using it on animals is cruel.
