| I saw one, never bothered trying one out, bought one and for the 1st 20 minutes on it I hated the thing. Not going back to the big tins now though. It's marvellous. Sell any body parts you don't need. Cheers Simon

, YBOD instructor, that the scribber is about £4 for a fill if you buy the lime in bulk and an O2 fill is good for about six hours. Not sure how accurate these figures are but they do seem tempting considering my recent gas bill!

| lime is £65 for 20kgs which is 8 fills which are 3hrs each 24hrs for £65 O2 40-60 bar for a days diving 1 £3 fill = 2 days dil (air) £1.5 ??lasts maybee a couple of weekends (depends how much you like to start with and how much you use) of course you can geet a J of O2 O2 is then <1p per litre if you can get free air it helps you really save when you start using trimix though 3l fill of trimix £5 rather than £40 for a twin set?? you won't save money on a box or not enough to make it pay unless you dive all the time - you have to want it |

O2 - from a welding cylinder Air from own compressor (not free but once you've shelled out for the pump anyway then its doesn't seem much). Helium - free from work ;-) Rebreather from B&Q: £600 :o) However... the rebreather is reserved for dives where its logistically better than open circuit. Duncan |
