Diving in Cyprus

I'm off to Cyprus in the middle of October for a week, staying at Peyia.

Is it worth taking the breather?

If so is it dry suit or semi dry temperatures, availability of slime, recommendations for dive sites and companies or any to be avoided would be appreciated.

If I use a hire car rather than a dive company how easy is it to get to the Zenobia.

Thanks in advance.

Jacko

Talking

I am planning to be out at about the same time. (Although I will be on OC)
I find a 5mm Semi Dry with a hood is still OK in October.
Speak to either Rob Jones at Dive Tek Cyprus www.divetekcyprus.co or Chris at Dive In (Larnaca), scuba diving cyprus|scuba diving in cyprus|scuba driver training cyprus|deep sea diving both can sort out all your Breather needs.
Finding your way with a hire car is easy (although I would recommend a Dive Boat for the last couple of Kilometers!!!)

I'll also be there from Oct 11th - 25th diving around Limassol/Larnaca area on OC.

We may meet on the Zen and never even know it

Mark.

A wetsuit is sufficient for October.
As you'll be staying in Peyia I guess that you'll dive the Zenobia for 2 max 3 days during the week. .
To hire a car and drive to Larnaca it's very easy. It will take you 2 - 2.30 hrs to get there. Now it's up to you to decide if it's worth bringing the rebreather.
If you need more info or help let me know.
