~KINKY DIVERS~
Because going down is fun
Now known as No. 1 son of a pikey diver........ Oh the shame of it
We are all prompted by the same motives, all deceived by the same fallacies, all animated by hope, obstructed by danger, entangled by desire and seduced by pleasure. Welcome to Kinky Divers!
Divewise
Divewise Scuba Diving Centre In Malta - PADI, IANTD, DSAT, TDI and Rebreather Diving, Scuba Equipment and Gas Blending Station Facilities
They are in St Julians, about 20 mins from the airport, and should be able to sort you out.
I went with them a couple of weeks ago, and although i was on OC, they were doing sentinal training (Paul Toomer was there) and are working really hard to build up the tech side of things.
They'd certainly be worth having a chat to.

Another dive centre to consider is Tech Deep Blue
Tec Deep Blue specialists in technical and wreck diving in Malta
I think Mark Powell uses them, but I could be wrong. (Mr Powell are you there?) It's run by a couple of helpful Welsh guys. I haven't dived out of there (was flying home that night), but I did visit one afternoon and got the full tour. I've never seen such a clean, immaculate dive centre before. You could eat your dinner off the floor. The kit looked in excellent condition too and they have exactly what you need to do any kind of techie diving.
They've earnt themselves a good rep., take a number of military expeds diving and are safe.

Divewise will definitely be able to look after you (Nick [zero-vis] and I were the ones doing the Sentinel training with Paul Toomer a few weeks back... I'll do a write up when I've got a spare five minutes to write something!), give Viv a call, let her know when you're out and what sort of bottles you need, she'll look after the rest (and tell her Stuart says hi!).
Scrubber, I'd suggest taking out with you, it's quite expensive on the island. If you're worried about weight, book your flight with either Air Malta or BA, both allow unlimited amount of excess sports bags to be purchased prior to the flight.
Hi there to you all,
Thank you to Nick, Stuey and Morag for your comments. What a great time we all had, I have not laughed that much in a long time.
I run all the CCR and most of the tech training at Techwise/Divewise.
It would be our pleasure to have you come and dive with us.
You tell us what you need (cylinders, bailout, sofnalime, accommodation, transfers etc) and we will arrange it.
Check out these 2 websites, Diving Matrix | Paul Toomer Technical Diving and also Technical Scuba Diving With Techwise in Malta they are the main sites relating to my tech diving/training in Malta.
If you would like to contact me direct, then please use paul@divingmatrix.co.uk as I do not get on YD anywhere near enough.
What are your dates Juz?
Regards,
Paul
