| Nope. If the manifold is open then you can see the pressure anyway. If you have to Isolate in anger then you are going up anyway. Daz

| same as me, OMS wing back plate and twin 7s, its a dream to dive! No, dive with the manifold fully open and you will only need one contents gauge. Dont introduce more points of failure than you need. (all IMHO) Oh and make sure you can shutdown everything should you need to.. Jules

| ta very much. As I say, i'm new to the whole twin and wing thang. Do you rate OMS gear? |

| I am happy with mine but then havent really looked too closely at other brands.

| I looked at some reviews of halcyon and dive rite, but was swayed by the expert selling techniques of Divers Warehouse. I just love those bungees that keep it all neat. You cant beat a bit of rubber..... |

| Narked at 60 stuff is getting a good reputation and is made in the UK: www.narkedat60.com If you dive with the isolator fully open then use a single gauge but if only 1/2 a turn open use a gauge on each pillar so you know the cylinders are equalising enough. Also, you MUST shut the isolator at 100 bar and finish them off as indies as if a hose goes pop at 30m your twin 7's will drain too far to give you enough gas in one with the isolator shut and the problem side still draining fast. Also isolate if going into a confined space where you won't be able to reach the iso valve. I dive twin 7's and find them extremely comfortable. A good choice.

| surely even with the manifold cracked just half a turn there would be little or no back pressure within the manifold - i.e. the cylinders should equalize just fine, as the rate of gas you are breathing of your primary wouldn't be near the equalising rate of a 1/2 turned manifold.. or am I missing something?
