Question O-ring to DIN tank conversion?

is it possible to convert a standard o-ring tank (a-clamp) to DIN standard? And if it is how much would it be?

In short yes! Firstly check your valve, some valves have an 'insert' which can be removed using a 6mm allen key to change then from a-clamp to DIN. If this is not the case with your valve then a replacement valve (something like the MDE DIN/INT) is about £40.

I am not sure what you are asking so I don't mean to take the p#ss. As I read it you will need to change the tank valve to a DIN tank valve. That's the whole valve off the top of the tank. New one should cost about £40 - or anything depending on where you get it.
Another thought. Check that the current valve doesn't have a "DIN plug" in it. That would mean using an allen key to remove the plug from the valve face and Presto!! DIN valve for nada!!!
If you mean changing your reg to DIN then that is a different matter. You would need to approach the maker of the reg for the necessary parts and, depending who made it, it will be alarmingly expensive to drop dead ridiculous. Good luck.

right - checked my tanks

they have din inserts. marvelous, thats a few quid saved when i get my new regs
