Regulators and Cylinders: Discuss Anyone know the length of a Faber Dumpy 3L cylinder? in the Dive Kit and Equipment forums: Anyone know? It's the Dumpy I'm particularly interested in, not the normal Pony/Inspo size... Cheers...

I'm looking at the official Faber dimension chart and all UK BS5045 3l are 500m or 495mm long. Not sure if that covers the 'dumpy' you mean. If it isn't let me know and I'll check against the dozens of other EU 'standard' sizes

Cheers Beanie, I had a look there first, but couldn't find any 232bar 3L cylinders that had a diameter more than 100mm (the standard size) - oh, and I couldn't find any lengths either - wasn't allowed in the design bit...

Could you nicely ask your mate to get his tape measure out...?

OK, thanks. Perhaps it's not a BS one then, that might be why people find then so hard to get hold of. I think that the 500mm dimension is that of the standard Pony size one....

Well there is one @ 295mm (150bar jpn standard). Then there's a few @ 400mm/440mm which are all 200bar - most of those are CEE blah standard.
