| Apeks DS4 coming undone I was trying to streamline my rig last night and when screwing in a DIN DS4 into the cylinder instead of screwing into the cylinder it seemed to unscrew the thread (that goes into the cylinder) from the rest of the first stage. I imagine that this is how you change the first stage from A-clamp to DIN etc. Anyway, I simply screwed the whole unit tight together and it seems fine under pressure. Just wanted to know if this had happened to anyone else/was something I should be concerned about/get checked out (I assume not but you never know....) Thanks in advance |

| OK, not wanting to worry you too much, but this happenned to me on Sunday - YD Post here It is now going to be part of my routine also to check they are nice and tight. Cheers

| This happened to mine and when I tightened it back up I sliced through an internal o-ring. Luckily a fellow YD-er came to my rescue and got the lovely chap in the shop at NDC to replace it, but it is part of teh service kit and not an o-ring you can just buy in your LDS so be careful/. |

| My LDs is nice enough to return all the components removed after servicing, which means that all the related o-rings etc are now in my save a dive spares kit

| Have had it happen to me too. Just be careful as once it came undone, it seemed to make a habit of it and as Lou said, it knackered the O ring. After several phone calls to Hydrotech they sent me what they promised was the right size o ring. It wasnt. I ended up having to send the whole 1st stage down to them so they could see which one was knackered.
