hp hose swivel

Hi all,

On my old set of regs the swivel on the HP hose is leaking. Is it possible to change the O ring myself? or do i have to take it into to my LDS.

If i can change it, how? i am quite good with tools!

The Regs are not going to be used until next year when ill get them serviced, however its a good console that I could put to use.

Thanks in advance
Dan

change it yourself tiny o rings though, sometimes a crochet hook will get them out and sometimes the damn shaft that the o rings sit on will not come out, have a go it may be easier than you think.

Quite easy to do, you can either get the orings seperately or simply get a whole new swivel complete with orings and change the lot. Worth cleaning the recess the swivel fits into though otherwise the crud will quickly trash the new orings.

Simple enough to do, providing you can take it apart like Freeflow says.

You can replace the O ring or the swivel - Knackers does the swivels Swivel, Gauges at divingniknaks the UK's No 1 scuba gear online store
