What I need to know is how easy will it be to convert my existing kit over to DIN.

1. Apeks TX100 1st stage - I believe there is a conversion kit available. Anyone any idea about this?

2. Apeks TX50 - On a different (DS4) 1st stage - will the same conversion kit work dor this?

3. I think most modern cylinder valves can be easily adapted to accept DIN regs (by unscrewing the middle out) - is this correct?

4. How much will this cost and are the fittings then interchangeable (ie when I go abroad, can I change the regs back to yoke clamps?)

You mean to tell me we havent covered this ground before?  Divers Warehouse converted my 1st stage, about £20 I think.  As for going back to A-clamp, a yoke fitting costs about the same.

I knew we'd discussed it but, like most of our conversations at 7am, the detail was absent (in my head anyway!!). Cheers Andy, that helps with that. Am I right about the cylinders?
