Reaching valves etc.in the inverted position is easier, esp.if you have to do it repeatedly in the event of a 1st stage failiure for eg.Inversion is used because of this, the ability to control one's air supply without compromise. There are other benefits, less incidence of entanglement and easier to solve if you do get tangled.http://www.divernet.com/letters/letters599.htm.  You can/should invert singles too, look at the picture on this cover, http://www.hammerheadpress.com/pages/highrisk.html. Hope it helps.Hobby.

Dave, hi, yes blood pressure issue all worked out, doc said that as I have no other symptoms then the low reading is normal basically. Suffice it to say I am delighted beyond belief, that was a scary few days where I kept worrying about it. Did some great dives at the weekend, cave dive on sat and 2 boat dives on Sunday, brilliant! I just get more and more addicted

Excellent, great news, :thumb:
But I suppose this means that you'll not be donating your equipment to the 'Get Dave Twinned Appeal' then.. As you surely would of, had you had to retire eh ;)

Are you coming to spend a weekend with the chaps at Abbs in May??
Then you can show me yours, and I can show you mine, and then we can both look at Andy's, and we know Jay will want to whip his out...
So all in all there should be an awful lot of.. 'diving equipment' about..... Hey!! what were you people thinking!!!

I never 'whip mine out' as it is soooo big and heavy that many a diver would be scared away from the sport that BSAC woluld no longer exist!

Andy will now proceed to tell us all about how at work, he takes out his 'Big red shiny Thing' puts both hands around the end of his 'very long Hose' which by the way he needs to unroll, and then he'll smile gleefully as he tells us about how far he can shoot it...

Sorry mate, there were just too many Double Entendre's to miss out on..  ;)

I need to know the dates for St Abbs as I have the chance to go to the Red Sea for a week in May, I think it's mid may, need to check that out too. Other than that I am going to Scapa Flow on April 19 for a week of wreck paradise
After May I will definitely have to get a contract for a few months and save up more money for loads of dive trips the rest of the year. This is the only advantage of being self employed. Sorry Dave, no twinset this time!! I am going to crack on with my tech courses after these two trips and then get myself on some good boat trips out to deeper pastures.
