Dumpy 12L - how much?
I have a dumpy 12L sitting at home doing nothing. It's out of test and will cost £27.50 for a hydro and valve inspection.

If I flog it, what price could I expect for it both untested and tested (i.e. is it worth my while getting a test)?

I've never understood why people buy 12l dumpies, or why they're cheaper than standard cylinders when niche products are normally more expensive.

I couldn't think of anything worse than dumpies for twinning-up.

It could come in handy as a drop-bottle.

Eh? I never said anything about twinning up! I'm a short arse, so a dumpy suits me fine. If you're just going to slag my kit off, don't bother replying. All I want is a guide on a price and whether it's worth the hassle of a test. Bugger off grumpy

I bought a second hand one with test for £70 if that's any help. Usually ones with test go for about that on fleabay.

Without test, I dunno, £30 £35 quid. I've just had a full test done on mine and it cost £33 - thing is it's a bit of a waste of money to buy one without test because it might not pass. You might be better to get it tested and then sell it.

I like dumpy's by the way - I can't be arsed with a longer tank because it annoys me being too long. And anyway, dumpies look nicer. Which we all know is ALWAYS the most important factor.
