Has anyone had any experience of the go-dive twinsets, more so the bands and the SOS manifolds.

Or are there any twinsets for sale out there? 12s

If they are the right price then I wouldn't worry too much about it. Lots of people dive other equipment and they don't seem to die too often ............. or maybe it just doesn't get reported?

Oh dear, my poor old memory is failing again. I believe the way the MDE manifolds are made mean there is less chance of an manifold O ring blowing if you fetch your manifold a good clout with a hammer or a piece of wreck.

Stiffness of operation was also mentioned but in a previous thread on YD a non MDE user said his were fine?

My Go-Dive ones are MDE and CD bands so apparently I should be pushing up daisies now but they are fine, I got them years ago so can't help with the SOS ones though.

Safe diving,
Steve

I had SOS valves and never had a problem ever with them, but then again they are a bit shady with customer service every now and then. I would go to Phill at Scuba Diving equipment at divingniknaks, never let me down.

I would go with the San-O-Sub. They've given me 3 years of trouble free service.

Now, that crappy MDE valve with all the chrome flaking off . . . need I say more about quality!

Is that from personal experience or just word of mouth?

Had no problems at all with SOS in the past.
