| Ruffy - they are a total bag of nails. I will send you an address where they can be disposed of safely ![]() |

| they would suit my hose routings (on indies), but the cost would be interested to hear how you get on with them. |

| They're sublime but *massively* overpriced for what they are - Apeks need to be shagged with a very large stick for trying to milk the techie cash cow with these! Personally I would have preferred to have spent the money on a set of Scubapro MK25s as I still think they offer better hose routing or - better still - stuck with Apeks DS4s and kept the (considerable) change! If money isn't an issue, though, you'll be extremely pleased with their performance... BTW - I'm always amused by people who spend an absolute fortune on a peice of kit and then ask people's opinions on them *after* they've bought them! Surely you should have done your research *before* you handed over your dosh? What if everyone had canned them? You'd be stuck with a total lemon!

| I was quite disappointed with the spec for the price plus the 'everybody goes down' layout only works with one hose arrangement so you have to be a dedicated follower of fashion to get full advantage of the design concept. They would be a total bitch on my inverts. Oh and it's Apeks... |

Personally, I wouldn't want 'handed' first stages: you'd need one of each in your spares box. Quote:

Sorry Ruffy, but you should have asked for our opinions first. Here's mine - waste of money! Last edited by nickb : 11-03-08 at 11:26 AM. |

That said, I've never understood the point of indies...
