Question Which cylinder to sell

Hi,

I've just bought a 12L 232b twinset. Which means I can't really justify keeping both of my current cylinders (12L @ 300b & 15L @ 232b)

So, I've got to get rid of one the cylinders and I wondering which would be the most useful to keep:
  • for single cylinder diving (has to be the 15L really)
  • topping up the twinset
I'm assuming it'll be the 15L as connecting 300bar cylinder to the twinset would be a pretty bad idea (especially if connected when both are full) or am I wrong?

Regards,

Jeff

I would drop the 12L 300bar, 15L will be usefull for topping and single cylinder diving. If you want to top the twinset it will be easier with the 15, although conecting a 12 300 wouldnt be a big problem, after all they wont both be full will they, else you wouldnt be topping up the twinset. And you can always get another 15 and create a decent twinset

Matt

There are more in the other bit of the cellar but I don't keep them in test any more.

Wink

14 cylinders!

Maybe I should have been a little clearer.

I don't want to get rid of a cylinder but the missus noticed the twinset and a brand new Oxycheq wing had arrived from the States....so I promised to sell one cylinder to offset the costs of all the new gear

Show the wife how little cylinders sell on Ebay about £20
Hide the offending cylinder
Keep the cylinder for additional safety, the more gas you have on a dive the better
Offer* to buy her a new hand bag, pair of jimmy choos or similar. That will take her mind off things.

*Offer, don't actually buy the stuff obviously

Q. Why did the razorbill raise her bill?
