    Rothmions Tanks

Does anyone know if these are still made, and if so where can I lay my hands on one.

    Not this kind though

F**k off, I'm a poor student and weighing up my options, leastways looking at the stamped weights on the tanks.

Do you mean Roth cylinders? Don't know anyone who sells them now though. Had one once and gave it away, it was a real dog. Mucho heavy. Think they might have been branded 'Tortec' at one point too.
that voodoo stuff don't do nuthin' for me

I think I saw a Roth sold by Kent diving a few years ago, but I could be wrong.

They are still out there but not seen a new one in a dive shop for a long time.

Only ever seen a 7l and 3l made by them. The Tortec (if it is the same, but very surprised if it was) were quite sought after before the euro etc came along for trim etc. Or at least they were by me, but not for long.

    Try ebay etc.

    Digs.

Ah!! Thanks Tom, just found their website. It's kinda heavy, you're right - I'd be as well twinning my 15l

I have a 12.2l Rothmion, and its damn heavy and bloody long. sits on my ass and on the back of my head, and I'm 5'9. Came from a guy who split them from a twin set.
