I wonder if Apeks would offer a statement on their policy going forwards?
I might try and give them a bell tomorrow,

Hang on, I thought this m26 lobbocks was in the form of guidelines or recommendations and did not have the force of a code of practice or a standard. Haven't the HSE said that they will not enforce the M26 so called "rules", they could hardly do that if it was a CE requirement. If that is the case how does CE marking come into it, has the CE standard for regs been changed to include M26 for nitrox? If so we're on a loser.

If the next 50 years are anything like the past 50 years, I'll be an old man by the time I'm 100
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.
You are 100% correct. Apeks are talking shit and cannot require the regulator to be changed. Since there is no difference between the parts for an O2 service Apeks reg and a non O2 one this is utter crap from start to finish.
I have an idea.
I think everyone that owns an Apeks reg should email Apeks customer service and ask them what the fuck they are playing at. (info@apeks.co.uk)
A couple of thousand indignant customers should get them to change their minds....
