    Kent diving regulator outrage

    I have always brought my regs from kent diving ( Kent Diving )
    But was shocked and outraged to the the following.

    I actually feel quite pissed off about that!

    NEW M26 (EN144-3) for use within EU

    OLD Din 5/8 for use outside EU (+ £20.00)

    Wahey! The first LDS to hit the 'shit list'. Well Done to Kent Diving.

    I might actually start a special thread, just for the special businesses trying to work this ridiculous arrangement to their advantage.

    Thats for Apex "nitrox" regs, normal ones come with option of a-clamp or Din 5/8

    If it's the Nitrox ready reg, then that is because they need to change part of the 1st stage as Apeks probably only supply the Nitrox ones with the new stupid thread.

    Just get a non-nitrox version, their cheaper.

    Stand down, panic over.

    As ardhill points out, it applies just to the Apex nitrox dedicated regs and not every reg they sell. While it is not pleasant, it does not look like they are pulling a fast one and it may very well be out of their hands....If not then a definite boycott is in order!!
