The cylinders which have been very loosley described as the sort which are perscribed and exchanged at the chemists........ could be that same as the ones which my wife "perscribes" on a daily basis. If they are, they can be filled with a pin index to female DIN adaptor which would the fit a std din filling whip. They could of course be something completly different, for example, have a non return valve preventing you from filling them, or have a bullnose (unusual except is storage size O2 cylinders) fitting. In the case of Bullnose .... well thats just another adaptor British Oxygen used to supply a system within the marinox tube which had a non return valve and had to exchanged by BO when empty. This system is I'm informed no longer in general use but BO do offer a "modernisation" upgrade for those systems My apologies for the short andd incomplete original post, I hope this detail is more acceptable best wishes

| Here are a couple of pictures of them, the valve has a DIN "looking" thread that screws verticaly into the cylinder. As I am not familiar with these, perhaps someone can tell if they can indead be filled with a DIN adapter, but what about testing then?? The part of the valve on the actual cylinder facing forward takes a hex key which turnes in on and off. James

if you look down the hole if theres a cross at the bottom - that's a non return valve and they can't be filled easily (you can filll them you just need to rebuild the valves first to take out the non return valve) |
