Stolen Submatix on Ebay
The silver Submatix 100 ST SCR unit currently on ebay item number 170040014051

Found on this link eBay.co.uk: Submatix SCR 100 ST Rebreather (item 170040014051 end time 24-Oct-06 10:30:41 BST)

IS STOLEN!!

Was taken from my property 2 yrs ago. The police are onto it as are ebay although nothing much seems to be happening!

Please be aware that this unit will NOT be supported by any of the Submatix Authorised sellers or trained upon...

DO NOT buy it... its not the sellers to sell!

im amazed that hes sold it on e-bay !although its like ive always said if there wasnt a market for stollen goods i think that the thief would puts his hands to stealing more regular stuff like tv,s videos and dvd players !!!

apart from that i hope as he seems to be based in the uk he gets a kicking from the local constabulary if he ever gets brought in !!!

why doesnt e-bay contact the winning bidder if the company has been made aware of the units stolen status !surely a company the size of e-bay have got some morrals?? and will tell the purcheser that the unit might not be cosha ???

Could you not contact an administrator of E-Bay and make them aware of this?

Also, how about leaving feedback on that particular item, mentioning that it was stolen?

I would alos look on the sellers other items to see if you can see enything else you recognise!

The f**kwit should have a good kicking and be dropped into the nearest sewage farm.
Bought it at a car boot sale for the girlfriend has got to be the most unbelievable story in the world, and then to say he's not very good on EBay, but failing to spot his own track record is available to anyone to see on Ebays site suggests there is a village looking for an idiot somewhere.
Ebay should shoulder some responsability as well, probably the worlds largest market place for resellers of stolen goods.

Glad to hear you may get your unit back or at least know the thief may be caught.

What did you think of the Submatix SCR? Did you buy another or move onto a different unit?
