Do we have any SCCR users on the forum.

If not, does anyone know of a forum where they hang out.

In a similar fashion to Mattbinn, I too am trying to find out more info on SCCRs.

The stuation is that I would like to get an Inspiration (or Evolution) but I can not afford it or justify spending that kind of money - nor will I be able to for a few years.

I've virtually settled on upgrading my 10s for 12s when Matt mentioned seeing a Draeger going for about £650 - well, it's worth investigating.

Any info will be gratefully received.

Good question.. one I've wondered about too.

Second hand at £650 might make an SCR appealing, but I could never see why people were paying thousands for them new..

If you're serious.... I'd just sit back and read anything you can. It took me years to go CCR, but when I did, it was based on reading bucket loads

Fundamentally and SCR can be as pretty much as deco efficient as a CCR, but you'll need to do multiple gas switches.

It all kinda depends on what sort of diving you do as well.
