    Stoney Cove 35m

    Hi
Going to stoney at the weekend and have dived the hydro box many time with a 15lt and pony. I am an experienced Dive Leader and have twin 12's now and have been diving with them for a while and want to see more at 35m.

What is there and where is it?

Would appreciate and sights/bearings or plans that any1 wants to share

    Cheers

it's quite cold now, and below 24-25 m it's always dark. Are you actually ready for it ?

    if yes

get in a water from a "bus stop"
    then follow a "motorway"
    @ ~ 33-34 m you'll see the hydrobox on your right. It's ~ 3-4 m from the "motorway"

    alternatively ...

follow the "motorway" to 22 m
get to the edge of a deeper section (on your right)
follow the edge (to your right)
you'll see a rope going "into nowhere"
    follow it
it bring you to the top of the hydrobox

    if no

keep away from that place. Too many fatal accidents happened during last years ...

The bottom isn't dark at the moment, plenty of natural light.
We got excellent 10+m viz at the weekend.
Instead of dropping off to the hydro box, go left and follow it around to the other side and see the skeleton and gnome garden.
