    Dive to support Cancer Research

    Hi All

    I have decided that as one of my new years resolutions that I want to raise some money for charity, and following the obviously successful scuba santas earlier this month, I am looking to do something on a similar line to support Cancer Research

    I am looking to organise..... (please dont be offended of you're from the north west, its nothing personal)....scuba scousers. Just a simple dive dressed as the stereotypical 80's scouser, black curly wig, moustache and shell suit.

    There are a few of us already agreeing to do this, so if anyone else would like to join in please let me know. The event will hopefully be taking place on Sunday 14th March at 8 Acre Lake

    Once again I apologise if this theme offends anyone, but its hopefully just a good humoured way of raising money for a good cause.

    I'm also going to contact diving shops & suppliers to see if I can get any gifts donated for a raffle.

    Great cause Rick, sadly wont be able to make the dive due to holiday commitments,however i shall be forwarding a donation. Having lost my own father in 2008 to cancer this is a cause very close to my own heart. Keep up the good work.

    OK peeps I now have a definate date, 8 acre cannot do 14th March as it coincides with them returning from the red Sea, so the date is now Sunday 21st March - sorry for any inconvenience.

    Shame, really that is the 21st, as it is the same weekend as the Aquanox event at NDAC, which is in aid of Marie Curie, and Bite Back.
