    Lunch, anyone?

    A few weeks ago, the RNLI sent me a thank you letter, and advised that YD had been given an award. The details, letter, etc are in this thread....

    Well Done, everyone :)

    The award was a regional one, and we were invited to the 'Regional Event'. As they think we are Yorkshire, it seems as though we are in the 'North'

    I have just had details of the event:

    Sunday 27th June, Voltiguer Suite, York Racecourse, from 12 noon, with lunch.

    It isn't me who won the award, it is the whole of YD. I know it isn't practical for us all to go, but i'd really like some company. We get one place free, and others are charges at £24. I have no intention of not contributing, so my suggestion is that we take the total bill and divide it amongst those that go - so if 4 of us go, it would be £18 each.

    So... who is going to come and help me collect this resounding thank you?

    How about we all chip in to pay for the tickets and any excess is given to the RNLI. Then by some means you can sort out which members to take with you.

    Is there a limit on numbers ?

    I don't think there is a limit, really. the more the merrier, I'd say I have to send off the list in a few weeks, along with money, so how about we see how many want to come by the end of the month
