As those southern 'Northerners' are havin' one so can we.

Does Anyone fancy Christmas drinks in the East of Scotland. I was thinking about Edinburgh as there are a fair few of us here, with a few more slightly further afeild, who will be very welcome to join us.

I was thinking more Glasgow, after all, there's more fun at a Glasgow funeral than an Edinburgh party

Give me an idea of the date you have in mind. If I can make it I'd suggest a pub in Rose Street (if you can find one that isn't filled with Solicitors or Rugger Buggers) as its handy for Waverley.

Far too close to Glasgow for my liking. In fact anything West of Haymarket might as well be.

What about the Cafe Royal or the Guildford - close to Waverley and better beer than most pubs on Rose St.

Happy to booze anywhere tho'

If Glasgow is selected - my votes for the Clockwork Brewery.

Happy to try anywhere, dates are my problem though...very busy every weekend from now to Xmas. Will be Embra on business on the 26th Nov but that's ridiculously early for a Christmas swally

Since when did anyone around here need an "excuse" for a swally? So, it's not Christmas, but it is winter and a wee dram or two will keep that chill off!
