Thumbs up MENCAP - Charity Dive.
In Dive this month there is an advert about a sponsored 24 hr dive, can we at YD, arrange one, or many around the country all under our YD banner. All we need is 12 buddy pairs willing to do 2, 1 hour dives during a 24 hour period. I am going to contact mencap & will get back with more info.

It will be held over the weekend of 18-19 June 2005, or for a full brief call Mencap on 0845 977 7779 or email events@mencap.org.uk.

Come on YD let's do this, have a great time and help some other people.

Waiting to hear from Capernwray to see if they will host the event in June and have texted Diving Daisy, AirAssisted - aka Ian Graham, to see if he can help.

If anyone else can get any of the bigger names in the scuba industry to join in and help promote diving for those with disabilies, please try and get them involved.

Have heard back From MenCap, they are going to send an info pack out to me in the next 2 weeks.
