| Ok, this is the plan: Arrive here Get ratted Go home. Plan the drink, drink the plan ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Thanks to Woz) Three Wheatsheaves, Derby Road, on the way into Nottingham near the Queens Medical Centre. Really easy to find and has a big dark car park from where you can get all of your dive kit stolen. But more importantly it is on my bus route home (all night buses, thank you N5). Three Wheatsheaves 402, Derby Rd Nottingham NG7 2GQ 0115 9787375 Multimap thingy Team list: 1* Woz 2* Porg 3* ?

| Can any of the locals Brief where the nearest resonably priced accomodation is? Simon A |

| Accomodation Quote:
Are you looking at staying closer to Stoney or the Wheatsheaves, the two are (guestimate) between 45 to 60 minutes apart along the M1. There are various Travel Lodge type places near to the M1 J25 which is still a little way off the Wheatsheaves. Coming off at J24 is a possibility but not sure whats available accomodation wise nearby. Maybe Woz can help there. If you're planning on staying closer to Stoney then there are a few places and I know Stoney keep a list; give them a call.

| Cheers folks I know the places I can stay round Stoney (I've used DIve-Inn but The Mill on The Soar is prefered), but I'm looking for somwhere within walking distance of the Nottingham social so i can have a sherry or 2. Regards Simon A |

| Crawley Divers meet YD ?? Gareth - your Branch will be at Stoney on the 19th & 20th. Might give you a chance to meet them and maybe dive with us, seeing as you have been a member for about the last 6 months. Quite a few of us are staying at a Travel Lodge near the gig as the usual suspects (the nearby B&Bs) were full-ish. See some of you there. I'll be the one with twins 10s diving the 6m platforms; should be enough air for a good 30 minutes. Regards Mark

| Will have an investigate on Monday and post up some hotels. the pub is on the main drag into Nottm to any city centre hotel is very doable as the all night buses run past the pub plus a taxi will only be a couple of quid- ideal for a share.

| Hotels and stuff in Nottingham Hiya Stoney giggers There is a B&B scarily close to the Wheatsheaves called P&Js, which would give you minimal staggering distance after a few sherberts - although it is a lot of years since I stayed there, they used to do the most fabbest cooked breckie!! If you want to be in town all the usual suspects hotel names are there - a couple of Holiday Inns, Express by Holiday Inn (only about a year or so old), Hilton, Park Plaza - I think they are all much of a muchness in price - they are all in the town centre but I think the Express by Holiday Inn might be a good choice - I'm not sure about parking there though - Nottingham isn't particularly car friendly. If anyone wants to PM me about anything please feel free. PS Did I say I used to be in tourism? ![]()
