| Cancer Research UK's Race for Life is the UK's biggest women only fundraising event. All the money raised will help fund the life-saving research of Cancer Research UK - the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. Women of all ages and all levels of fitness take part in Race for Life. There is information on all the races being run around the UK and dates on Race for life Website This is one of the charities that I support on a regular basis and I am therefore running in this years race as I have for the previous 3 years. If anyone would like to sponsor me they can do so online Here (Any donation large or small will be gratefully received and put to very good use by this worthwhile cause). I am running as part of a company team and all donations raised will be matched by the company. Sam Last edited by daz : 08-04-05 at 12:35 AM. |

| Sam, hope the training is going well, keep up the good work. Come on guys all for a good cause. |

| The training is going well for her Fiona, I even broke out in a sweat last night putting a cross trainer together for her I go along every year to support her from the side lines and every year I seem to miss her as she runs past... might be something to do with all those other ladies in lycra Personally I think they should charge a spectator fee, they would make an awful lot more. Daz P.S Thanks for your very kind donation.

| Good for you Daz the nearest I am going to get to running a marathon is watching it in TV, which I do each year. Some of the stories bring a lump to your throat and I have much respect for anyone who runs it. |

| Sam has it taken place yet, if not bumping it. |

| Rumour has it that Mrs Narked@50 is doing this years event also, we come back from holiday next week and she starts her training in earnest. I did offer to let her carry my kit, it was the least I could do - she agreed with that bit! James

| The race takes place in Bristol on the 15th May, so still a bit of time for her to train. Thanks on behalf of Sam for the support so far. Daz

| It's this Sunday Bump. Right my lovely wife is running this Sunday so if anyone wants to sponser her time is running out. Sam had her Thyroid removed some years back due to Cancer and a little thing like that has not stopped her getting on and doing the things in life that she wants to do, despite a difficult few years getting medication levels correct. Good luck wifey, I'll be supporting from the sidelines. Daz
