August Bash (Party)

Right, this is how it works: Every year since being students, Nikki (swmbo) and myself have hosted a party at August Bank Holiday weekend

This year, as it is our first August bash since joining the world of diving, it seems appropriate to invite YDers together with the normal friends of past and present.

I know it will probably clash with diving events, but I WOULD like people to come along on Saturday 27th August if they are able, and I know I have a few local to me.

Don't be bashfull that you don't know us, isn't that what the community is all about, making friends etc?

We live in Newark in Notts. and are easy to find. I will PM further info to interested parties. I hope to secure an adjacent field for camping for anyone who wants to overnight, or there will be floor space to crash. There are local B&B joints if anyone wants to go that route.

Usual 'bring a bottle' (or ten) stylee, with BBQ and usually some food provided, but bring your own if you fancy a 12oz rump steak. Lobbie donations would be good

PM or email me for directions etc, and so I get an idea of numbers (I think it will be a bit crowded if we get the WHOLE clan).

PS Kids of all ages welcome.

Hiya recurve,

I would definitely have been up for that but it is my wedding anniversary and London's calling.

Hope it goes well.

Safe diving,
Steve

Excellent Idea that man.. Unfortnuately I won't be able to make it either, as I will be at the 'World Famous' Frocester Beer Festival all weekend.

Cheers for the open invite though!

I'll put it in the diary and see what I can do, I am sure to find some like minded dive pi** heads for the journey over if I can get away from work.
