I think Callisto is making the call to the relevant people at some point today and then giving them my details, I can then organise the return of the plaque. So, fingers crossed . . . .

Hopefully last night the plaque was returned to the relevant parties, so just a quick public thank you to Callisto for that.

Two males surreptiously meeting in a car park last night apparently locally well-known for 'dogging' was not an experience that I aim to repeat soon.

On a not unrelated topic, my Mum works with a girl whose husband was killed last winter in a motorbike accident. His family got permission to put a commemorative plaque on the Scylla as it was one of his favourite dives. However, they are apparently having problems fixing the plaque (I think they're trying to use some kind of adhesive, though I don't know what brand/type).

Any ideas how it can be attached? I assume it's metal and that there's a good reason why they can't use rivets or something similar.
