I can put you up, but was wondering if we can get a better pub than the Slug and Lettuce. Any suggestions please? I know some really decent places around the Angel are of London which might better fit a gathering of Divers!

Near Waterloo gets my vote as it's on my commute ;-)

I know some great pubs near Angel too but none of them are on my way home so the Slug and Lettuce it is.

It is quite hard for me to read your posts since that spinning Shed of your's gives me symptons not to disimilar to vertigo.

Given that I am currently experiencing slight weightlessness and nausea from reading your post, can we not find a bar anywhere in London that has more life in it than a Slug and Lettuce?

Don't know whether I can make this yet, but there is a good bar very close to Waterloo station

http://www.cubana.co.uk/about/

Live music on Thur eves as well, but the downside is it's fairly small. Finding space for lots of people could be difficult.

Worth a visit though for Jugs of Mojito.

S&L or All Bar One have the advantage of having room to accomodate large groups.
