Given that I am currently experiencing slight weightlessness and nausea from reading your post, can we not find a bar anywhere in London that has more life in it than a Slug and Lettuce? |

| Don't know whether I can make this yet, but there is a good bar very close to Waterloo station http://www.cubana.co.uk/about/ Live music on Thur eves as well, but the downside is it's fairly small. Finding space for lots of people could be difficult. Worth a visit though for Jugs of Mojito. S&L or All Bar One have the advantage of having room to accomodate large groups.
