Don't remember much about the conversations, I do remember walking for miles at the home end of the journey looking for a kebab shop.

I will try and post the picture from the PDA that reminds me of Janos.

A good evening was had by all and yes the wallet did take a hammering at £3 a pint

you do realise that if you go to the other end of the bar at the S&L, and ask for your drinks with a sarf east ascent, you only get charged thrupence ha'penny for a pint & a half of mild?

what i didn't get was: two pints and four bags of crisps ... gave £20 got 50p back - think they thought it must have been a tenner - only thought about it when i got home though! fancy a londoner taking a northerner for a ride eh! just damn shame it was southern money really!

I'm now used to London prices - it was the holiday in Norway that did it - £5 per pint! And not even a proper pint at that.

But it was nice to meet up with some YDers (and even a couple of RBWers) and talk crap for a few hours

1pint kronenbourg shandy, 1 pint bitter and 4 bags of crisps and got 70p change.

still damn expensive thats why I drink in Wetherspoons cos its realistically priced.
