Hi All

Yes, the 26th is still on.

I propose that those of us who would like to eat first meet up for a drink in a small pub called 'The Pier' on Ocean Road, close to the curry houses between 6.30-7.30pm.

After that we can go for a curry at 7.30pm at a restaurant called the Shalimar (provided they can accommodate us, so I will need to know numbers for food soon!). There are plenty of other restaurants if there is a problem, but I'm sure the Shalimar will be okay - I know the owner and will go see him.

Those who don't want to eat first can meet up in Yates' bar in South Shields town centre from 7.00pm onwards - we curry lovers should get ther about 9-ish. All of these places are within walking distance of the Metro and public transport systems. Let me know if you want more specific directions.

Aye, what a night out . We were still going strong at 4.30am this morning.

Found that myself and Helen have been living parallel lives - scary!

Several pubs were visited, a very good curry enjoyed by all and then we danced the night away in "Coyote Wild". Much fun was had with a sparkly stetson hat, and at one point i ended up wearing a centurion fancy dress helmet

Ohhhh dear. When do we do it all again???
