I finely did my one hour dive done.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to tell you all about the dive. It was about six feet down in the pool. I killed the hour and it was a lot of fun. Ever thing went well but for one thing that didn't go well was my gloves. I have never had that problem before. My hands fell into the dry suit sleeves and the gloves filled up with air and I could not get my hands back inside the gloves so I said forget it and lets’ dive. I think I need to get my sleeves shortened because they are a bit too long anyway.

My total dive time so far is 280 min. I am working with Diveheart to get myself certified. I have been studying hard to pass the PADI test.

Here is the link to some of my new photos. http://matt55125.tripod.com/scuba

Take care everyone Matt.

Very well done Matt! Congratulations and I'm sure you'll sort the glove problem out.

Matt,

I hope you'll forgive my use of the Anglo Saxon phrase - F*cking Well Done!!!

I'm really pleased for you. This must be a big step towards your open water goal.

I was just conversing with someone on another forum about limbs retracting from dry suit extremeties and my hypothesis, which sounded slightly wild to begin with, may now have more credence.

I believe it is possible that some humans have ancient links to dinosaur tortoises and the remnants of the long unused DNA are causing occasional spontaneous retraction of limbs into the shell.

I suspect if you put a piece of lettuce in each of your gloves and boots you may find that the feel of this much loved tortoise food is enough supress any dormant hibernation tendancies or reactions to strange events that may linger in the deepest recess of your tortoise brain.

Looking forward to your next report.

Rgds
Bryan

ps: If you are any relation to the Mutant Ninja Turtles I would love to receive some autographs!

Thumbs up Congratulations

Way to go Matt, I told you on your birthday that I didn't think it would be long before you broke the 60 min barrier, very well done and good luck for your next dives.

Safe diving,
Steve
