Talking The 'Let's see Helen FH off to Scapa' curry n' beer night: South Shields, 6 May 2006
As discussed at the recent 'St Abbs Armageddon Gang' gig, we thought it would be nice to have a night out to see our friend Helen off to Scapa in May (any excuse for a p*ss up you know!).

The plan is to have a curry and a few beers in South Shields on Saturday 6 May 2006. We'll meet in 'The Pier' pub on Ocean Road, South Shields between 7.00-8.30pm. Curry will kick off around 9.00pm at the Shalimar on Ocean Road followed by much imbibing. The last Shields night out we had saw a number of us still going strong at 4.30am...just don't let me drink Aftershock as I lose the use of my legs whilst dancing.

If you would like to come and plan on travelling from further afield, I can recommend reasonably priced, good accommodation in the town centre through some friends, Victoria and Paul, at Once Upon a Tyne. If you fancy staying there let them know you are on the YD night.

Qualifications:-

PADI : Dry Suit diver, Drift Diver, Deep Diver, Boat Diver, Multilevel Diver, Night Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck Diver, Underwater Navigator, Underwater Naturalist, Enriched Air Diver, Equipment Specialist.

Ok, i haven't actually done any of these certs, but i sure as hell have done them enough times whilst diving. ;]
