British 10K, please sponsor me

Hello all,

On Sunday the 2nd of July, i'm running the British 10K in London for the services charity, Combat Stress. I know there are a fair few ex (and serving) Forces personnel on these forums, and also many others who appreciate those who put themselves in harms way for Queen and Country.

Combat Stress looks after ex-servicemen and women suffering from mental health issues. It's estimated that Combat Stress will get 700 referrals in 2007 alone, and as i'm sure you're all aware, treating someone suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or a similar issue is unfortunately a lengthy and costly process.

If you can find it in the good of your wallets... I mean hearts, to put a few quid into sponsoring me on this run (for an extra challenge, as an ex-scaleyback i'll be doing it with a 20kg bergen to simulate Royal Signals combat fitness test weight).

More info can be found on my sponsorship page http://www.justgiving.com/lofty0938

Thanks for reading, safe diving!
Andy

Moderators: Apologies if this is in the wrong place.
