Maritime Archaeology Conference
I'm not sure whether this is the correct place to post, but here goes!

The Nautical Archaeology Society will host it's Annual Conference at 'Action Stations' in Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard on Saturday 11 November 2006.

However, it is more than a conference.... Activities include an informal get-together at a pub in Portsmouth on Friday 10th, dinner on HMS Warrior on Saturday night, a walking tour of Portsmouth on Sunday or (for those who are dive-qualified) a chance to dive the Submarine Escape Training Tower (SETT).

Thoroughly recommend the NAS - I've just spent the weekend doing their Level 1 course and found it really interesting.

I did the Intro course a couple of weeks ago. Well worth it.
