FINALLY - the vote for YD charity(s) for 2007
Sorry its taken longer than I promised but here are the finalists. We are not necessarity restricting to one charity if there is more than one clear favourite but this is the list (including the one I want to add as well). Please note you can vote for more than one charity.

Please vote and once we have the results in (give it till the end of Nov) we can work out how we can support them. Thanks for all your comments and continuing generosity.

Could I make a plea that we support one of the less rich charities. (One or two on the list are regularly censured by the government for holding too large a reserve and only fund raise to maintain their 'profile').

Cornish air ambulance gets my vote, even though im up in Scotland. All English and Welsh air ambulances are purely funded by charity except for the 2 Scottish based aircraft which are funded by the Scottish NHS, personally i think it is wrong and they should all be government funded.

Certain ambulances are grounded every now and again due to lack of money, despite the hard work of the fund raisers it costs a lot to keep the aircraft flying and in remote parts of the UK an air ambulance is the only chance someone may have.
